For their laboratory work Certottica and Dolomiticert are officially accredited by Accredia, appointed by the Italian government to assess that certifying bodies and testing laboratories have the skills required to test product, process and system conformity with the reference standards.

For their laboratory work Certottica and Dolomiticert are accredited every year by Accredia, sole national accreditation body appointed by the Italian government to endorse the skills required by certifying bodies and testing laboratories to test product, process and system conformity to reference standards. They also check product compliance with essential safety standards and issue detailed test reports to supplement technical documentation and compliance statements.
In their laboratories, and on the strength of the specialist expertise of their technicians, Certottica and Dolomiticert test and certify that all personal protective equipment for eyes, face and body complies with sector legal requirements.
Certottica Group acts as reference partner and project leader in firms’ participation in cross-border cooperation and international research project work.
The group’s innovation area monitors and selects tenders and sets up reference hubs involving firms, prestigious research centres and universities. Certottica Group manages projects from start to finish and publicises the results.

Via its special unit ABLE – born from the integration of the educational know-how of Confindustria Belluno – Dolomiti and Certottica – the Certottica Group offers inter-company training, tailor-made consultancy services, special higher education projects and accompanying funding-access services, in conjunction with the institutions and universities.
It also works in the post-diploma specialisation and guidance branches of education and directly manages an I.T.S. – higher technical institute – training Eyewear Product Managers within the International Eyewear Polytechnic.
